Artist’s Statement

My name is Carol and I am Beaded-Baubles. In the year 2000 a friend introduced me to beading. After making one bracelet I was hooked! Pretty soon I had so much jewelry made, that my husband suggested I start an online store and Beaded-Baubles was born.

One day while surfing the web I saw some chainmaille jewelry and was intrigued by the look. I wondered how the chainmaille would look with beaded elements incorporated into it. The result was a look I love and I hope you will too.

I find inspiration all around me in architecture, textiles, nature, and even the feeling I get from listening to music.

Creating unique jewelry is something I enjoy doing and I rarely make the same thing twice. I prefer the adventure of making new and different pieces rather than reproducing the same designs over and over.

The bracelet at the top was featured in Bead & Button magazine in June of 2007 and some of my chainmaille pieces have been shown at the Mall of America. I am a juried bead artist and my work is currently being shown at the Marshall Area Fine Arts Council in Marshall MN. Beaded-Baubles is located in Marshall, MN.
